PROGRAM MANAGER


Job Description:

·      Interpret drawings to develop quotations that represent the most cost effective use of all resources (material, equipment and labor)

·      Customer contact regarding quotes and maintenance of quotation database

·      Confirm that timing the press and the facilities choices are reasonable for the proposed process

·      Calculate speeds and feeds for various machining operations

·      Ability to select materials required for processing

·      Maintain detailed documentation and accurate files for all quotes submitted

·      Research and expand new supplier base and make recommendations to the purchasing staff for possible purchases for future projects

·      Punctual and regular attendance is one of the essential functions of the job

·      Must be willing to work overtime when requested

·      Recognize that the job extends beyond the specific responsibilities detailed and includes helping with whatever and wherever help is needed to service the company

 

 

Requirements

·      Educational Requirements:

o   High School Diploma or GED

o   BS in Engineering preferred

·      Required Skills:

o   Minimum of 2-5 years in a manufacturing related position with estimating experience (prototype/low volume preferred)

o   Automotive background preferred

o   Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

o   Proficient in blue print reading, geometric dimensioning, and math

o   Knowledge of dies, stamping, fabrication, machining, welding, and other manufacturing/assembly processes

o   Ability to use various software packages, such as AutoCAD, Catia, Cimatron, UGS NX7, Pro/Engineer, SolidWorks

o   Must have a working knowledge of personal computers and standard software

o   Strong communication and interpersonal skills
